Cork is naturally antimicrobial, so it helps keep your mat clean on its own, all you need is a gentle wipe with a damp cloth and cold water. For deeper cleaning, use a mild solution of water with a touch of soap, vinegar, or witch hazel. Allow to air dry completely before rolling with the cork side out, and avoid harsh chemicals or soaking.

The Rituil Cork Mat is crafted from sustainable cork for a natural grip that improves with use. During the first 2–3 weeks, light hand movement is normal as traction strengthens with heat and sweat. To speed up the process, gently scrub the surface with a teaspoon of salt and a damp cloth.

Rituil Product Guarantee

Rituil offers a Limited Lifetime Guarantee on all of its cork mats, provided they are used and maintained correctly. This guarantee covers these mats for 5 years of regular use, and Rituil will replace them if the surface of the mat wears out due to regular use under normal conditions, with a maximum of one replacement per purchase. We do not offer this Limited Lifetime Guarantee for cork yoga mats used by non-individual purchasers such as studios or hospitality/wellness hotels and destinations or similar businesses.

The guarantee only applies to mats purchased from Rituil or authorized sellers in the United States, as Rituil cannot vouch for the quality of products sold by unauthorized sellers.

It's important to understand that the guarantee does not cover cosmetic wear that doesn't affect the mat's performance, damage from improper handling, cleaning with anything other than water or other suggested cleaners by Rituil on its website, outdoor storage, damage from outside elements, excessive water or heat exposure, rolling the mat with the natural rubber facing outward, folding the mat, post-purchase modifications, negligence, lost or stolen mats, or using the mat for purposes other than intended.

To request a replacement under the Limited Lifetime Guarantee, contact Rituil's Customer Care team with your receipt or proof of purchase and an image of your mat. Rituil will review the claim and provide further instructions within 5 business days. Keep in mind that you'll need to cover the cost of returning the mat to Rituil.

Coverage Limited to Original Purchaser.  The Limited Lifetime Guarantee provided by Rituil only extends to the original purchaser of a Rituil Cork mat. 

Replacement as Sole Remedy.  If your covered Rituil yoga mat experiences issues covered under the guarantee, the sole remedy available is the replacement of the mat with an identical or comparable yoga mat, at Rituil's discretion. Rituil does not provide cash refunds or other remedies for any damages resulting from the use or misuse of the product.

This guarantee is the sole express guarantee for these products, and all implied guranteees are limited to the duration of this written guarantee. Rituil is not liable for special, incidental, or consequential damages arising from a breach of guarantee, breach of contract, or strict liability. However, specific legal rights may vary by state.
