Our cork leather wears in, not out. Unlike synthetic mats that degrade, cork improves the more you practice, requiring about 2 to 4 weeks of consistent practice to optimize its natural grip performance. Naturally antimicrobial, it resists trapped sweat and odor-causing bacteria so it stays fresh with zero hassle. Maintenance is close to zero, requiring just a simple wipe down with a damp cloth and cold water for daily care, or a mild soap and water solution (along with a touch of white vinegar or witch hazel if preferred) for a deeper clean while avoiding harsh chemicals.
