Our cork leather wears in, not out. Unlike synthetic mats that degrade, cork improves the more you practice, requiring about 2 to 4 weeks of consistent practice to optimize its natural grip performance. Naturally antimicrobial, it resists trapped sweat and odor-causing bacteria so it stays fresh with zero hassle. Maintenance is close to zero, requiring just a simple wipe down with a damp cloth and cold water for daily care, or a mild soap and water solution (along with a touch of white vinegar or witch hazel if preferred) for a deeper clean while avoiding harsh chemicals. Rituil offers a Limited Lifetime Guarantee on its cork mats, covering 5 years of regular use by the original individual purchaser from Rituil or authorized US sellers. If the surface wears out under normal use, we replace the mat once. Studio, hospitality and business use is excluded. The guarantee does not cover cosmetic wear, misuse, improper cleaning, heat or water exposure, folding, or loss. Replacement is the sole remedy; no cash refunds.
